Caprice and kids

Founder

Hi, I’m Caprice, a passionate educator with a Master of Teaching and a Bachelor of Science. I founded The Learning Lab to create a dynamic, supportive space for students beyond traditional schooling. With experience in both public and private education, I understand the importance of individualized learning, hands-on discovery, and peer collaboration. As a homeschooling advocate and a mother, I am committed to providing a flexible, engaging, and student-centred learning environment.

Our world is evolving, yet education is struggling to keep up. It’s time for a new approach.

At The Learning Lab, we are leading the way in alternative education, ensuring that students develop the skills, creativity, and curiosity they need to thrive in an ever-changing world.

My Story

As a mother and homeschooling advocate, I saw a gap in the education system—a need for interactive, project-based learning that allows kids to explore, question, and create. I wanted to build a space where children could learn beyond textbooks, engage with real-world concepts, and develop problem-solving skills in a supportive, small-group environment.

That’s how The Learning Lab was born. Located in Macarthur, this learning hub is designed for homeschooled and alternative learners who thrive in flexible, hands-on educational settings. Here, we foster curiosity, encourage collaboration, and provide experiential learning.

Every session is crafted to make learning fun, meaningful, and student-driven. Whether children attend once or twice a week, they’ll leave with new skills, confidence, and a deeper love for discovery.

I’m so excited to share this journey with you and your child—welcome to The Learning Lab!
